I bought this on recommendation from a friend, after reading several books about the role of Israel as we approach the end of the age. The great thing about this one is that Don Finto writes in simple English, doesn't waste words, and makes a lot of sense. For me it summarised very well all that I had read in other books, and was much easier to read than some. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to gain some insight into Biblical prophecy and fulfilment without getting too bogged down.
I saw this on TV and bought the DVD on impulse. Andrea Bocelli seems able to draw in a fine cast for his specials, and this is no exception. For me, I think the highlight was the piano solo, but I really enjoyed most of the performances. They do come across much better on DVD, since the relationships between Botelli and his co-stars are an essential part of the experience. If you haven't seen the concert, it's well worth it if you like Andrea Bocelli.
I do feel that Israel gets a bad press, so looked forward to reading this. Whilst I agree with a lot of what David Horowitz says, I can understand why some people don't like the book. It is very pro-Israel, and, whilst there is much truth, I felt that he presented a bias that wasn't necessary and detracted from what he has to say. I'd still recommend it for anyone who wants to hear about Israel from an Israeli point of view, though, and the reader can form his or her own judgment.
