I awaited the arrival of this item with eager anticipation after reading some rave reviews on this site and I was most certainly not disappointed when I unveiled it from its cellophane wrapper. Although there were similar models listed that were priced 999,996.05 cheaper than this one, I found their tonal quality a little 'reedy' for my tastes. Furthermore, I found that, with a little manipulation of the connector between the trumpet and the air cannister with my forefinger and thumb, I was able to manipulate the pitch of the air horn to subsonic levels. As a freelance animator and illustrator, I am always keen to see the work of contemporary artists in the same field. I own quite a few of the Pictoplasma books that feature digital art and art for the moving image, so it was good to see a compendium of drawings that go back to the roots of ink/paint on paper.
As usual with Pictoplasma publications, the book features an eclectic mix of styles underpinned with a quirky (and sometimes downright absurd) sense of humour. Admittedly, not all of the artwork will be to everyone's tastes, but there is such a breadth of style here that you cannot help to be entertained.

Quite possibly the comfiest boots I've ever worn. Styled like a regular Converse Chuck Taylor boot, but built for much more rugged terrain and inclement weather. Ideal for winter.
