I've had the joy of playing most of the Final Fantasy titles. And in all that time, this is the most radical of them all. In some respects, it's hardly anything like your stereotypical RPG. But in others, it really, really is.
Now, it goes without saying, that the graphics are splendid. The world of Spira is as beautiful as it was in the previous installment, so no real suprises there then.
And the characters largely make a return, but in different respects. As the story now focuses on Yuna, and what she's up to, two years after the events of the previous game.
The sound however, is altogether different. The music is something straight out of Japan, as though it was written… Read more

Though Front Mission 3, has very little in common with Square's other title. But that's nothing to worry about. As this is a game, which at first glance, may not appeal, with its now limited graphics and sound, will grow on you. As you play more and more, you uncover conspiracies, and underground government plots. There are many characters to choose from, each having a role in the story. The battles can become quite intense, as you do battle with many enemies, in customisable mechs. The mechs, are the sugar and spice of the game, as you travel through the world of Front Mission 3, you can upgrade you machine and change its looks.
