I tested this USB drive using my 5-year-old Dell that has had a TeckNet® USB 3.0 PCI Express Interface USB 3.0 Dual Expansion Card fitted to it, as it didn't originally have a USB3 port on it (5 years ago, I don't think USB3 existed). This card, by the way, is available on Amazon for £10.

I tested the read and write speeds by copying a file (or files) of the following sizes to or from the drive, and simply timing how long it took. The speeds are given in MiB/s (as opposed to MB/S - 1 MiB is 1024x1024 bytes).

Using a 3GiB file:
76 MiB/second write
131 MiB/second read

Using 1GiB of files of size 3MB each:
27.3 MiB/s write

I think the songs on this album are great! I am playing them to my 6 year old son who also loves them. However, I am shocked at the price - how can anyone justify selling a kids' CD for over £1200?! All these songs can be listened to for free on spotify

This was bought as a present for my son's friend's sixth year birthday. I thought I should test it beforehand to make sure it worked. The product takes SIX batteries. It is very easy to insert the 2AA batteries, but I spent approx 20 mins trying to open the compartment for the four AA batteries and failed. My wife also had a go and gave up. The top of the compartment is held on by four clips - two inner, and two outer. The two outer clips can easily be released,but at the same time you have to release the two inner clips (which refused to bend, and I didn't want to apply too much force as I think they would have broken quite easily).
