The World's Best Spicy Food (Lonely Planet Food & &hellip by Lonely Planet
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have many recipe books & really like looking at them as well as trying out the recipes.

This book is lovely to look at & the recipes are easy to follow & sound very good - I cannot wait to try them out.

I normally do not like the "best of" and other mixed collections of recipes so I was expecting this to be so-so - I was so wrong - I give this book 5 STARS unreservedly.

The recipes really are from all over the world - with around 30 contributing authors - you have a wide variety of dishes - each presented in the same style.

When you open the book - each recipe has a 2 page spread - on the left hand side you have 6 paragraphs superimposed on a… Read more

These tea bags looked good - large roomy bags - large tea leaves & blue flowers - the dry bags did have a good smell. I had high hopes.

However I was disappointed with this tea - the first I made in a small pot - this gave the weak strength that I like but did not seem to have any flavour - the second I made in a mug - this after just a minute gave a very strong brew but again the Earl Grey… Read more
Tefal BL142A42 Fruit Sensation Blender - Silver by Tefal

An excellent gadget overall.

The blender maximum capacity is 600ml so it is good for making smoothies, cocktails & sauces for 1 or 2 people. (I have a 2litre blender which I use for soups - this one is too small for that as I normally make larger quantities). I like the glass container as I think these are easier to clean - you do have to be careful of course as with any glass container to avoid slippage & breakage.

Because of the shape of the container & the fact that there is not a handle means that this blender takes up little room on a work surface and is easy to store.

The mini-chopper is very good - I made a garlic & herb mix which I used to put into… Read more
