Flew well in 10mph winds, wouldn't fly in higher winds; haven't had a problem with strings snapping but I would check them all after you start to pack it away, some of the slipknots might need refastening.
Some people have had issues with kite tearing or stitches bursting but I've flown this into the ground quite hard on numerous occasions and it's fine; I can only think it was being flows in too high winds.
The grips are D-Grips found on delta kites and most stund kites but the handles alone tell you this is a beginner kite. The pull isn't massive but not for small children.
I love it, and already want a much bigger more powerful one.
