Inferno: (Robert Langdon Book 4) by Dan Brown
1.0 out of 5 stars Generic, 6 Jan 2014
Another Dan Brown "classic", as with all other Langdon based books the underlying story is exactly the same and everything moves at the same pace throughout. You could jump from page 100 of 1 book to page 101 of any of the others and be at the exact same story-telling point of the narrative. Not recommended but can be read to pass time on a journey, but definitely do not buy this, only borrow from a library!
A Song for Lya by George R. R. Martin
A Song for Lya by George R. R. Martin
2.0 out of 5 stars A Song for Lya, 7 Dec 2013
Having read all the published Song of Fire and Ice as well as The Hedge Knight, I was not expecting a completely different genre. From epic fantasy to introspective sci-fi. I now know that this was written long before A Song of Fire and Ice but still the variation is dramatic. A good read nonetheless and I liked the idea put forward for man's search for a divinity.

The new kindle is an excellent piece of kit. At the current price it is practically an impulse buy now, no debating just purchase. The ease of use and ability to transfer books quickly to the device make it extremely easy to use for anyone and the page turning buttons on the side are very useful for someone like me who likes to read in bed. In short, an excellent purchase and highly recommended
