Uncle Bill: The Authorised Biography of Field Mars&hellip by Russell Miller

My father served in a mobile field hospital under Slim from India all way through Burma to Malaya from 1943-45. He reviewing the book now, and so far is immeasurably imprsssed. I am sure he will find many memory-jogging details in the book about the 'forgotten armies' in 1945.
Minox Miniature Camera Spy camera -- Complan 1:3.5&hellip by Sonstige
The MINOX 8x11 tiny range of subminiature cameras started with VEF's Riga in 1938. These tiny cameras take analog film, 36 or 50 exposures, designed for close focus (8" or 0.20cm) with the highest possible lens quality for a camera of this size. Used by US Presidents, German Chancellors, Hollywood Stars (Phil Silvers), the UK Royal Family.
Made to the highest quality in Germany, from 1945 to today.

Fully agree with the previous reviewer. Great for collectors, not complete by the way, and could do with an update.
Would also add that the best books in English on using the MINOX (as opposed from putting them in a cabinet)
are the JC Cooper 'Minox Manual' editions - there are 3, including a very rare third edition.
