Where's My Monkey? (Lemniscaat Series) by Dieter Schubert

I love this book, it may possibly the best book for toddlers I have ever "read", but I was severely disappointed by this cardboard version. It doesn't do any justice at all to the beautiful drawings, and takes away the joy of looking at all the tiny details hidden in every page.
Also, by adding text to the pictures, another part of the fun is taken away. Because there is no text in the original, you (and the child) are encouraged to tell the story in your own words.
I bought this version because of the low price, but ended up buying the original as well because the child it was intended for deserved the real thing.
Creepy Cute Crochet: Zombies, Ninjas, Robots, and &hellip by Christen Haden

Loads of lovely ideas in here, and so very cute that there is no creepiness left.
I just forgot I'm not a very good chrocheter and left-handed as well, so translating the patterns so I can actually understand them may be putting me off for a while.
Might be worth the effort though.

Already knit my first doll from this book and was pleased the patterns are so easy to follow.
Am now about to start on the face, which seems quite the challenge, but I'm sure I'll manage.
Looking forward to picking out the clothes and making them.
