I have been in love with Mundo Piccollo for many years since i first discovered the little world of Don Camillo on the shelves of a B&B in spain. Don Camillo is a village priest at war with the local communist mayor, though often they find themselves on the same side albeit by accident rather than by design, they work in secret to keep the local party and church afficionados from knowing that really they care for one another and the small world they live, watched over by a long suffering bishop and an even longer suffering God who speaks to Don Camillo often trying to turn him form his impetuous path but more often failing. A light hearted and fun read.
