Philips AVENT Fast Bottle Warmer by Philips AVENT
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a neat little gadget, a handy way to warm bottles and food jars, that’s not a space-consuming blot on the worktop. We’ve tried the Tomme Tippee warmer, which looks similar and works in a similar way. The Avent control knob adjust for food type, whereas the Tommee Tippee one adjusts for temperature. The results are much the same though. The big advantage of the Avent one – the thing that really makes it worth the extra money – is the defrost feature. It certainly beats the palaver of defrosting with a microwave oven or under the tap. We’ve not been using it for long, but it has already replaced the Tommee Tippee warmer in the kitchen. We just like this one better.
Fisher-Price Little People City Skyway Toy by Fisher-Price
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Our two-year-old grandson loves this. Her wasn’t really sure what it was all about until we showed him where to load a car at the top, but once he’d got the idea, he played happily with it for hours. It’s a simple toy to use, and offers enough action and surprises to keep a small child entertained. The two cars provided are the ideal size and weight for the tower, but any similarly sized wheeled toy also works fine.

The set comes in a big box – about the size of a suitcase – and is full of colourful plastic pieces that need to be snapped together to build the Skyway tower. It took me an hour to build it, following 44 step-by-step instructions. All the major parts are screwed… Read more

This is a railway set designed to coincide with the "Tale of the Brave" movie, which at time of writing has just been released. If you've not seen the movie, then quite why Thomas is teetering on a mountain top railway will be a mystery. It's a fun toy nonetheless, even though nothing resembling any kind of avalanche is actually featured in the set . The box is impressive, and includes little Thomas in a see-through window on top of the box. Keep the box - you'll need the big photo on the front of it to help you with assembly.

This is a Track Master railway, so although this is pretty much a one-trick toy, you can incorporate it into a much larger railway. To help with this, the… Read more
