A friend and I stumbled across Sophie Hannah a few years back when we both read Lasting Damage before realising it was part of a series! We then started at the beginning.
Little Face and the earlier books were amazing reads. Full of tension and suspense and I love the character of Simon Waterhouse. We both couldn't wait to get started on this book.
It started out ok but towards the middle and the end it just became absolutely ridiculous. The plot line ends up being completely ridiculous.
The ending is just so unfinished and there's no real resolvement in the story.
The tag line of the book is 'He thought he was a killer. The truth was worse.' I was expecting a good read… Read more
