This is a handy little reference ebook. the only sad thing is that is you read it on a kindle and not a table then the beautiful illustrations done by the author are only in black and white.
I learned lots of interesting snippets about how vegetables help with different illnesses or medical issues. the author also explains in detail the nutritional benefits of all the vegetables or fruits in the book. they are all used as vegetables but technically some might call things like tomatoes ,fruit.
This is not a book that I would sit and read from beginning to end but is a very handy ready reference that you can refer to when needed.
These arrived in quick time well packaged and are just as I hoped they would be. They are kilims so not backing but they are pure wool and feel great They size given is accurate and the colours are also accurate - Very happy thank you
This is a really handy reference for all kinds of cooking and storage tips. This is not the kind of book you sit and read through for entertainment ;it is a reference.The author takes you through tips alphabetically from agar agar which is a vegetarian jelly through basic storage suggestions for cheese and how to peel almonds and so much more.
I discovered that if you want to store beef and keep it fresh in the fridge then you should wrap the joint in a clean cloth sprinkled with vinegar. I had never heard that before.
Some of the things I already knew but this did serve as a reminder while others like the storing of beef were something I learned from this book… Read more
