A variation of styles but it works together. Played it non stop in my car for a bit...... Really gets to the parts that others miss.

HHhH by Laurent Binet HHhH. Not only I have added to my learning of an urgent area of modern history but I have been blown away by the refreshingly humble style of the work. It's original and post modern yes, but is also very well researched and written from a point of honesty which, for me anyway, allows one to relate to the authors struggle to write an actuate account of an highly sensitive and emotional subject.

Looking at the one star reviews, a main point of criticism is that the work is pretentious; I find this nonsense as one can clearly feel the weight on the authors shoulders. It may not be for everyone but, at the very least I am sure you will enjoy having an opinion on the work… Read more

My girlfriend pointed this out in a record store as an album she used to have and I decided to give it a whirl.

Yes being before my time this is my first hearing of any Yes material and I am completely blown away. The second I put it on I thought it may be too much for me but as it moved on I picked up some of the many hooks and by the end of the second listen it was already familiar. 'Gates',the single track which fills side one (if you're on vinyl like me) is so full of energy and zeal and beautifully blended with some very subtle (but highly memorable) lyrics that it has become a real favorite of mine.
