Very British Problems: Making Life Awkward for Our&hellip by Rob Temple
Having followed this on Twitter, I just had to buy this book. It's one of those books which you could dip in and out of or, as in my case, go straight through it in 2 sittings
Basically, it sums up so many of the thoughts and attitudes we British are so proud of. It's what stiff upper lips are made of. Hilarious in its own individual way.

I mainly bought this for the tracks I was familiar with: And when I die; Hi de ho; Spinning wheel; and, of course, You've made me so very happy. I wasn't too familiar with the other tracks but I listened to them all and some of them were quite nice. I was a great fan of Chicago in the 70s so this follows on in a very similar genre.
Certainly worth buying for anyone who was around in the 70s and can remember this much under-rated band.

I sort of scanned through the track listing and bought this on the strength of the tracks my eyes alighted on. Those ones are very good indeed. However, when you listen to the whole thing straight through, you can't help thinking that they could have found a load of tracks which are a whole lot better. It's alright but didn't keep my interest to the end. That said, I am glad I bought it, if only for the really good tracks I bought it for.
