I built a road mini to the specs and when I sold it 8 years later, the work colleague who I sold it too, insisted on taking the book! No Pulletzer Prize for this book but interesting enough. Lacking in technical detail but all the facts are there and that's all I needed for the time being. Good write up on compressions and squish and does a good job of detailing most of the changes in engine from year to year. Good reference for a mix and match build or upgrade.Could do with volume two, to fill in the gaps.
