5.0 out of 5 stars Uabhasach math!, 16 Mar 2011
I saw this movie at the SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival) a few years ago and it was fantastic. Not only the story, but if you are trying to learn Scottish Gaelic, it is wonderful to hear and see the language spoken in converstaion. NOTE: this has not been made for region 1 players (American) yet, only region 2 (Europe). So if you are region 1, you will need a region 2 player, or if you are a proficent user of the Mac and it's media, I'm sure you can come up with something. Bottom line, this movie will not leave you wanting, whatever the reason you decide to purchase it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Scots away!, 13 July 2010
If you speak scots (not gaelic) "scots" fluently, excellent this will be a fun story and easy read. If you do not, but want to try your skill, this is awesome and kids giggle at the parental attempt! If you are not into learning the "scots", don't buy this book, you will only be frustrated. Good timing on shipping and in excellent condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, 13 July 2010
While I have not finished this book, it is lovely so far. An easy read and informational enough to make you want to know more, but does not burden down with a thousand tiny details all at once. The history is lovely, the story tragic and again, will make you want to know more!
