I've been trying different lactase tablets for years with varying success. The benefits of this one are that you have a smaller tablet, with a higher dosage - which means that you get more bang for your respective buck (per tablet) and the smaller tablets means it's easier to carry more around in pill-containers. i also like that they come in 60-per bottle - which is relatively high - meaning less plastic-wastage in getting more bottles.

3.0 out of 5 stars I wasn't that fussed, 18 May 2011
It was ok, I suppose - but it all felt too literary for me. It didn't really feel like it went anywhere, and the characters didn't seem to grow. It had some interesting insights into humanity, but it just wasn't engrossing enough for me. I think I just prefer a plot-filled book to these sort of "vignettes". YMMV

six, interleaved stories - quite a fancy way of putting six novellas together.

When I started this book I didn't realise it was six stories - I like to go into good books "blind" (it's part of the fun for me), so when the first book cut off in mid-sentence, I was actually very upset! But later in the second story, it referred to the first one - so I realised there was something else at stake... and then of course it continued into the third one and I began to go with the flow. It was certainly a fun ride - and I'm glad she tied everything up nicely in the end or I'd have been as upset as I was when the first sentence cut off.
