The Ice Princess (Patrick Hedstrom and Erica Falck&hellip by Camilla Lackberg
4.0 out of 5 stars Decent crime drama, 28 April 2012
I read a lot of crime drama and Lackberg is a welcome addition, the editing/writing could do with tightening up, but this is her 1st, so maybe it has been in later books. I will be reading more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better than the 1st, 28 April 2012
I enjoyed L'auberge, so eagerly awaited the next installment and it was even better than the first. It's a meatier read, which suits me, the characterisation was just as strong, I really got to love the individuals, those already met were developed further and the Parisian himself was soon close to my heart. I felt a real sense of drama in the storytelling and it kept me completely engaged and left me wanting more.

Boy was I glad.

Yes it's a light read, but it's funny and sweet and on a number of occasions 'bring a tear to a glass eye' poignant. The quality of writing was superb and by the looks of things there may be more to follow - I for one will be looking out for more of Stagg's works, finding out more about these characters and also what else she might have up her sleeve… Read more
