The Director's Handbook: Your Duties Responsibilit&hellip by Institute of Directors
A clear and logical format, easy to read. This book presents the role of a director from a practical rather than academic viewpoint. It is concise and to the point in its treatment of introductory company law, directors' duties, corporate governance and securties regulation. I use this book to supplement mainstream company law and corporate governance texts, while preparing material for my lectures. I found it to be of good value for money.

Fabulous book! Highly readable with superb period cartoons depicting the editorals of the time period regarding this new concept of limited liability. Great reference work for anyone writing or studying this era, whether early company law or the rise of CSR. I tend to quote this book almost as much as Berle and Means. Buy It.

I was not too impressed with the sound quality or format, but it does have some great Getz tunes. Makes me a tad sceptical about buying anymore CD's in this format.
