Spellbound is rock star with the rock and star fully intact and on fine form.It is well written, wonderfully driven, and featuring the classiest classic inspired and the sassiest blues you'll ever wish to hear.Yngwie Malmsteen is one of Rocks favourite sons,a legend, and here he connects magnificently with multiple music genre loving audiences on many levels.Be it through his famous guitar genius or his not used often enough on albums, suprisingly good vocal delivery.A celebrated artist and incredibly multifaceted intelligent individual with a remarkable gift and talent.Spellbound is an album that burns brightly and sends shivers down the back of even winter himselfs cold embrace.Magical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Resplendent, 25 Nov 2010

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Enjoyable, 9 Dec 2009
This is an album in part,of previously released cuts which are studio tracks from a profusion of Yngwie's superb back catalogue, and part live on stage tracks. The running order of the songs are perfect.
From the fabulously fiesty and sensational opening track "Caprici Di Diablo",the genius of Yngwie, and his remarkable and brilliant talent, followed by the sumptuous and breathtaking "Brothers"."Blitzkrieg" plays next, then the first of four live recordings...

Crowd chants of..."MALMSTEEN!!MALMSTEEN!!!",engage the senses afore the dazzling "Trilogy Suite".This magical and masterful rendition perfectly poises us for a fantastic rendition of Hendrix's "Red House",utterly… Read more
