This is a massive advance on the basic ETB I previously used - why? Well the battery lasts much longer, the pressure gauge is reassuring, and the time indicator ensures that I spend enough and not too much time brushing my teeth.
A compact camera needs to be exactly so and this camera wrap ensures that it remains so whilst being protected against knocks and scrapes. The missing star is because the securing base plate is a little lightweight. I use the wrap on a Canon S95 and that is about the limit of the wrap in my view.
The images in this book taken from full plate images are so sharp and atmospheric that you often feel that you are back on the Clyde on a crisp clear day. You can take a magnifying glass and pick out even more detail. It is hard to believe these scenes now as you stand looking across John Brown's fitting out basin. The text is worthy but its the pictures that make this book an absolute must.
