This isn't a book that says things indirectly and holds treasures in between lines; rather, it's a quite direct and simple narrative, not overstated, not overintellectualised..., a light take on deep matters, with enough thought-provoking power to let the reader lingering on it for some time after completion (at least that was my case). I recommend reading it. And I also recommend running.

It lasts the same as the original Panasonic and it costs a fraction.
True, you can't see the battery indicator, but if this is the extra battery you've got, it won't be much of a problem.

I can't find a fault to this lens apart from its slightly high price (although the current £50 cashback offered, which for me came in the post really fast, definitely helped) and can't really add to what previous reviewers have said about how great this lens is.
I used to have 50mm as my favourite focal length, but I'm really enjoying that extra width of this 40mm lens (talking 35mm camera equivalent here). For portraits, though, it starts to be a bit too wide if you're aiming for close-ups, as they'll look a bit unnatural -but it's ok from head and shoulders portrait length on.
