Complex Numbers Made Simple (Made Simple Series) by Verity Carr

I bought this book for my maths course because I was having a bit of trouble with complex numbers. It was a very helpful book, because unlike other books which jump straight in "at the deep end", Carr starts by describing the base of complex numbers through simple quadratics, and how complex numbers are applied. Then comes the properties of complex numbers, common operations (such as rationalisation) and worked examples. I found this to be a very helpful book, pointing out concepts in a very simple way, easy to understand, what was once a tough subject.

I'd heard a few from this album, like Shiver and Yellow, but the rest of the album's a lot better. It's not the typical Indie style, it's more powerful. One of those "classics". There's even a bonus track on it!

Sorry, Amazon, but 5 stars isn't enough. How about 10?

I've bought loads of other compilations like this before, all claiming to be the best. But this one takes some beating. "The powerhouse of trance" (quoted) Ferry Corsten chose some of the best "pop" trance for the first CD (like Welcome To The Dance, Toca Me, Hear You Calling and Beautiful), and then some proper stuff that reminds me of being in those clubs for 6 hours on the second CD.

OK, so maybe Sound Of Bamboo doesn't quite fit in, but the rest of the album makes up for it.
