This is an amazing release by one man show buck 65. What we have here is sixty minutes of intricate, abstract, thought provoking hip-hop spread over four tracks or squares as he like to call them. Each square shifts through different moods from funky, to rapid to laid back and everywhere in between.
It is not easy to draw comparisons with any contempory artists but if your a fan of DJ Shadow, Blackalicious and the Solesides or Saul Willliams you would definately enjoy this. Great rhymes, great breaks, this is head and shoulders above the competition, headphone music for hip hop fans, the hip hop album of the year so far.
