I watched this in 3D at the cinema as I love films about space but this was a disappointment. As a drama it was a single theme, overstretching the suspension of disbelief and giving no respite from being in space for the whole film.
It involves only two people, one male, one female. The male has all the traditionally "masculine" qualities, courage, cheerfulness, unselfishness, intelligence and a commanding, charismatic character full of leadership, charm and optimism. The female spends most of her time hyper-ventilating with fear, looking vulnerable, twirling around, crying out and making a mess of things.
