After hearing this on the car radio for the first time today, I just had to have this on MP3 , I will probably buy the whole SKYFALL soundtrack next as I notice its another Thomas Newman creation (American Beauty, Meet Joe Black... etc)

Well its not SAVING PRIVATE RYAN because there are no computer generated images just actual war footage.
Its a one off WAR FILM and for 1975 was way ahead of its time so I'll rate it as 5 STARS . If you've ever been to the D-DAY beaches and stood there in silence with a lump in your throat, then you'll need to see this film.
