From the moment I started reading this I wished it was over: the stupid mother; horrible dad; smattering of 2 D characters; pathetic.
Don't read it if you value your time and money. I skipped to the end to check I was right and yup. All the characters were so flat, no wonder they flipped, they were pancakes!

I enjoyed this book immensely. The groundhog effect was not to the fore as changes were possible in the narrative and characters. There was a certain feeling of being trapped inside a story line, but as I was enjoying the story, that was ok.
I was a little deflated at the end, but then how to end a circular narrative? An impossible task I suppose.

Have enjoyed reading Kate Atkinson's other novels and look forward to the next.

Good all round knowledge book with clear pictures and headings.

Very helpful for homework and looking at together when we are bored of TV and internet!
