I've been following Little Boots AKA Victoria Hesketh since the dead disco days and seen her perform many times growing in confidence and heard the songs on this album in their creation at different stages. The end result is slickly produced pop songs written and recorded by Little Boots herself and co-written on a couple of ocassion with some help but this truly is what great pop is about, the hype was just right, not too in your face and the album lives up to it, she truly is the sound of 2009!!! REVIEW FROM AN FANTASTIC THE FANTASTIC MUSIC SITE 'DROWNED IN SOUND'
Newly presented to the world, Leeds' Samsa make their inaugral bow on Yorkshire-based Mook Records.
Wrapped around a downward spiralling guitar line and a Muse-esque bassline, 'Quiet Places' sounds like a deranged Supergrass, complete with an infectious, semi-falsetto chorus. Flipside 'Keep Me Awake' is a riffing slow-burner that slides into bouts of impressive histrionics.
As debut singles go, it's a cracker, only mildly let down by production that could be a little more fulsome. However, a recommended purchase.

Personally I think this is the best game on the wii, i have been playing this constantly for weeks now and it was brilliant especially when i could see all the snow outside my window falling. Makes superb use for the balance board and controller too. Its a pity you can't use two boards but sadly I have heard this is because the board syncing recognises the board as 2 remotes so it would be impossible to have 2 as you need a remote as well to play. Hopefully one day they will sort this. However I was not expecting it, so no real dissapointment.
