Goblin Hero (Goblin Series) by Jim C. Hines
Goblin Hero (Goblin Series) by Jim C. Hines
Light hearted fantasy with actually a rather more realistic take on the cliché "swineherd into king" than those who take themselves rather too seriously. Read the series when stuck in bed with a head cold. Good fun. Recommended
Zero Sight (Zero Sight Series, Book 1) by B. Justin Shier
This is a very good reworking of well established storylines within the genre. Both the awkward teen romance(s) and the psychology of an abused child of a violent alcoholic parent are very deftly handled. I'd give it a four and a half but I'll give a five to this author to encourage him to write more. Highly recommended.
Tool-Being: Heidegger and the Metaphysics of Objec&hellip by Graham Harman

This is dire. The author's gleeful and misguided conviction that only he of Heidegger's many readers has understood him given the dreck that fills every page makes it almost unreadable.
