It's been over six years since I first read this book. I was too young to understand a lot of it at the time, so it became one of my "once a year books". Every time I read it, things become more & more apparent, little extras of the story unfold that previously passed by unnoticed. This might be because I can now understand a lot more of the book, but I think one of the reasons is the incredible detail that Crichton put into his books. If you're a fan of his previous work you'll know what I mean.

Well, it's been four years since Nightfall in Middle Earth was released, or to be more precise, three & a half. Those of you who loved Nightfall.. and were expecting an album of similar taste, be prepared for a change. A Night at the Opera, unlike some of Blind Guardian's previous albums, is heavy, fast, thumping, and... orchestral. It's a completely different side of Blind Guardian, and tracks such as The Soulforged show the contrast between this & some of their previous songs. Coincidentally, The Soulforged was a song that came about due to the fans, who voted for the lyrics of one song on the album to be about the Dragonlance series.

Seeing the trailer of this movie, or simply looking at the front cover, most will automatically "judge the book by it's cover" and assume this movie is about cars, stunts, and lots of good looking people listening to songs by Limp Bizkit. They would be right. Attention: If you have no interest in cars, no interest in stunts over storyline & no interest in the youth culture of today, THIS FILM IS NOT FOR YOU.
