This fantastic first novel from David Treanor is an extremely gripping read, filled with twists and turns which keep the reader guessing right up until the very last line - and beyond!

I think that my overwhelming admiration of this book stems from how easily Treanor seems to build up a palpable sense of unease, menace, and - I'll be honest - dread in the first few chapters - casting a tantalising and unsettling shadow across the whole novel. Brilliantly written,… Read more

However, as it started to become difficult to use it with newer hardware (due to the 3Gb RAM restrictions and the inability to use Solid State Hard Disks), I thought it was time to bite the bullet and upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit.

I was absolutely amazed at how quick and easy it was to install (sorry, I promise this isn't a MS ad!!) and how easy it was to install all of my software and hardware.

Okay, there is one software package that doesn't run - so I have to use a dual-boot system (which, by the way, W7 set up automatically, so there's no messing about with the boot.ini file)… Read more
