4.0 out of 5 stars Great film overall, 26 Jun 2009
Today i watched The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. Initially i didn't think it was going to be great, within the first few moments i thought 'Hmm, they speak English'. This might seem like i'm picking at it, but to me i didn't think i could truly get into the film without some level of authenticity in the accents or language, i was wrong though. I really adore this film...

I could leave it at that, but i will elaborate a little more.

First of all, i adore most of Burton's film. I want to be a film-maker after finishing my studies, and Burton is so very much a huge inspiration to me.

First of all... the album on its own gets a full 5 stars from me, because its really amazing! I bought it after seeing them live at the Give It A Name festival and only really liked a few songs from some of the earlier albums, but after seeing them live i became a huge fan... and so i bought the earlier albums and the special edition of this one...

The DVD that comes with this is pretty pants in all honesty, very short and not worth dishing out the extra money for. I would have at least liked a music video or something along those lines, but instead there is a pretty simple 'making of' and very little else.

However, the artwork in the 'sleeve' is great.
