3.0 out of 5 stars Quarries and corridors, 30 Jun 2012
First trip in the Tardis for the Doctor & Jo and it's to a BBC Quarry ! Obviously this story has suffered from lack of funds on set design, but that aside ( like so many Pertwee stories) this reflects the world of challenges and changes of the early 1970's. The visuals with light is mesmerising, Iain Softly the director did a wonderful job, especially with the lighting, casting and choice of composer for the music. Edward Shearmuir is a great composer. His music blends so well with the abstract of the story line, intensifies at the appropriate tense scenes and just does the job.

For the sceptics out there, keep you mind open, for the beleivers (Blue Jay) he fooled everybody!!!!!!

What we do in life, how we treat people and how we live our lives is the central theme for… Read more
