Twenty-Four Paul Cezanne's Paintings (Collection) &hellip by Stanley Cesar
I don't know why this is described as being 'for Kids' because children would not learn much about Cezanne from this. It's just a file with 24 of Cezanne's paintings with the title for each and little else. On a tablet you can zoom up by double tapping the screen. It's good to have a small collection of Cezanne's paintings to browse through and I've maybe been a bit generous with the star rating because it was on offer for free when I downloaded it. If you really want to find out something about Cezanne and why he is regarded as one of the towering giants of 19th century art you will want something more.
Beatrix Potter Illustrated Collection: 22 Books, 6&hellip by Beatrix Potter

Squirrel Nutkin has his adventures around Derwentwater while Mrs Tiggywinkle lives in the nearby Newlands Valley. Beatrix Potter lived at Hilltop near Sawrey and her house and garden feature as background to many of the tales. As many reviewers have said the stories work best in colour on a tablet or PC… Read more

The cast of orchestras, conductors and performers is star studded and the content is made up of short complete works such as The Lark Ascending and Pavanne pour une Infante Defunte and excerpts from longer works such as the finale of Gotterdamerung and Nimrod from the Enigma variations. I sometimes feel that it is a bit unsatisfying to have just bits of bigger works anthologised like this but there must be very few people who will not find something to enjoy in this three CD collection. There are too many things really to pick out favourites but two I go to time after time are Aaron… Read more
