Star Trek: The Next Generation: Cold Equations: Th&hellip by David Mack
5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent writer, 6 Jan 2013
Although I am a Star Trek TNG fan, I didn't think I'd enjoy reading a book about Star Trek, but David Mack's style of writing is fast-paced and clever. His storytelling may compel me to download Book 2.

Incidently, the formatting for the Kindle eReader was excellent. It's good to see a publisher making the effort.

5.0 out of 5 stars MacLean at his best, 8 Dec 2011

Secret codes, ancient symbols, Da Vinci, cults, holy relics, the bible - sound familiar? It may have similar ingredients to the overcooked Da Vinci Code, but the ingredients in the Codex are mixed and baked to perfection.

Adrian Dawson carries you along at a fast pace, jumping from one character's viewpoint to another - and as the characters merge and head towards the gripping finale, there unfolds a marvelous story of intrigue, deception and murder.

Every chapter is packed with surprises, leaving you eager to carry on reading - the sure sign of a gifted writer.
