My previous trail best shoes were inov8 212s. These were lightweight, fast and did me proud over wet uk winters, many ultras and the heat of the MdS.
Seduced by the pretty Salomons and that Jornet chap does ok in them I though I'd try these.
They are just as light and provide a deal more cushioning.
My running uphills and generally on the trails is significantly better since switching to these, I'm knocking out PBs in training and races every couple of weeks.
They are durable, go in the washing machine fine (you are specifically instructed not to do this, I note - but they do smell if you don't!).

as a GP I can tell the quality is poor
but for a cheap and cheerful price - what do you expect.
The dial seems to move accurately and the needle return to zero.
They claim 3mmHg accuracy which is adequate for home visit situations

a notch above the yellow ones (in terms of sound quality)- which lasted me a year
I run 60+ miles a week and they hold in really well despite off road hills and plenty of perspiration

My only criticism is that the buttons on the in-line can barely be operated with fingers and not at all with gloves
