Touchy-feely Nursery Rhymes (Usborne Touchy Feely &hellip by Kerry Meyer

My 14 month old loves nursery rhymes and this is a real hit. Her favourites in this book are 'twinkle twinkle' and 'baa baa black sheep'. She does like to touch the wooly sheep on that page, but isn't really interested in the other touchy-feely bits, although they are quite nice. The quality is lovely, nice thick pages with tabs to make it easier for little hands to turn the pages. Lovely, bright illustrations (but not gaudy)! It has quickly become a favourite, which we have to sing repeatedly every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars A hit, 19 Jan 2011
My 14month old loves this book, which we now have to look at several times every day. Lovely, bright illustrations with the flaps reveling a picure and description of the animal behind it. The last page has a mirror under the flap, which is a lovely surprise for the baby/toddler. So far the flaps are in tact, which is a bonus (many of our other 'lift the flap' books are looking worse for wear). Perhaps a little short, but we love it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Wasn't a hit, 12 Jan 2011
My 13th month old loves books, especially 'lift the flap' style. Unfortunately she's not interested in this one at all. Perhaps she's too young but may appreciate the humour of it when she's a little older! I was a bit dissappointed with the flaps - they're all the same size and shape (square) which isn't very interesting. I like the illustrations though and it certainly is colourful. Hoping it will become a favourite in time.
