This is a very absorbing book, and a page turner in a gentle way, walking the internal journeys of both Edward and Helen. Margaret Keeping very successfully gets into the minds of the poet and his wife and takes us with her. That the one is in the third person and the other in the first, works very well and helps to show the differences between them. Added delight comes with the beautiful descriptions of the natural world that Margaret works into the narrative.
