I really did not expect this book to be so compelling. I found it difficult to put down, what a marvelously written book on a fasinating person.
The book not only details the life and death of Piers Courage but also gives a great insight into him as a person. This book looks at Piers and his friends people like Jochen Rindt, Frank Williams, Bill Ivy, Jackie Stewart and many more.
Well done Adam

Hilton spends far too much of this book trying to discredit other writers who were probably around at the time. Not enough about the subject. The book is a series of reports by other people about certain races.
I read this book after reading Piers Courage by Adam Cooper - Night and Day.
I suppose that this has still left a slot for someone to write a proper book about Nuvolari.
If you want to find more about him them dont waste your money on this.
