5.0 out of 5 stars The End of Waiting, 12 May 2004
So, I'm sure every KsE fan has been waiting both excitedly (a new album!) but also anxiously (new drummer and vocalist).
OK - it's a matter of opinion but i must say i like Jesse more than Howard (go and check his new band out Seemless) now let's move onto the actual album;
the album is a much brighter affair than 'alive or just breathing?' (even though that itself had uplifting bits). this is presumably down to howard's lyrics, which are more simplistic perhaps than in the other album (in terms of topic) - love, hate and a kind of perserverance being uppermost in this. the music, both instruments and vocals are still amazing - howard's voice almost matching jesse's in its… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars mind bending..., 17 Feb 2004
ignore the review below - the footnotes don't explain everything, in fact they complicate the read. i could write an in depth review of the book to echo its complexity, but i would have to rewrite the book to explain it and its author's genius. the synopsis/review by amazon is a nice little taster.
read it and be amazed...

The Postman Syndrome are an incredibly talented band - the musicianship sure, but the lyrics are so origional. Of course you can hear some influences in there but i can't name one because they stand out from the crowd that much - a beacon for modern metal/rock/whatever - this is genreless! in fact if any of the members of TPS mentioned influences they themeselves are probably better than the respective influences!!!
All songs are wonderous - i could write on them for ages - just try… Read more
