This book is very simple to review. If you want to sucessfully plan, write and deliver a memorable speech then this book is for you.

I found this book a real 'guided tour' through, nervously worrying how on earth to give a speach, to lapping up the applause once its over. Very well laid out and extremely thorough. Absolutely cram packed with samples, if you struggle to dream up your own words of wisdom, you'll find more than enough content to 'borrow' from the book for your great speech.

Highly recommended.

As a young Manager of a team of 24 staff I am new to the concept of leadership, coaching and mentoring. This book makes the distinction between the three very clear.

The real 'pearls' of this book for me are the case studies -of which there are many- these help affirm the book as practical rather then stale and theoretical, you could put into practice knowledge gained from the book straight away in the workplace. The book is laid out very well and progression through the chapters is both logical, uncomplicated, and with the case studies intertwined, interesting and relevant.
