This should come with a warning; "DO NOT READ TO UNDER EIGHTEENS!" The first few chapters are traumatic! I do not normally read anything as dark as this, however this author dives straight in where lesser beings fear to tread! From the first page his main character starts to wrestle with moral dilemmas. This is a theme not just through this book but throughout the trilogy, yet never does the book slow in pace or give a hint of simply states it as it is in the living of the characters lives.
