Having read and enjoyed James Anthony's first novel, Homo Intellectus, I was glad to hear of the sequal and it didn't disappoint! Mr Anthony manages to do something very clever with his novels. He keeps the chapters short and fast moving and makes it very easy to read while at the same time playing around with alternative and highly plausable ideas as to where we as humans came from and questions the very essence on the accepted history of hman kind and it's culture. He does this without getting bogged down in detail or being 'preachy'.
