The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I have to say that after the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games trilogy definitely comes a close second. I am only half way through the second book, but I really think it's a fabulous series. This short review will only be on the first book:

The characters are all brilliant and I really think that the main character Katniss is a modern-day heroine. The storyline is not predictable at all and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It's quite dark and has a lot of hidden meanings, but I think this is a good thing. I absolutely LOVED this book. The characters were very relatable and it was very well written. I will be downloading the other books in this series and will be reading them on my holidays (if I can wait that long!). I would really recommend this to anyone who loves books from authors such as Sophie Kinsella and Cecelia Ahern.
