Do you like father ted?if yes picture this ,ted and dougal are in the bedroom scene, ted is reading the biography of some infamous bishop, dougal instead of his usual comic is reading John grishams The Racketeer, halfway through the book he puts it down and says "this books mad Ted".That in my opinion sums this book up for me,its fiction I know but come on,try giving it a bit of credibility mr grisham,i have enjoyed most of his earlier work,a time to kill, and the pelican brief are among his best, but this is a bummer, just to far fetched im afraid.

If you seen and enjoyed the film and enjoy the stories of past boxing icons then the James J Braddock story is up there with the best. This well written book really draws you into a time when people really struggled to survive because of the great depression, and a time when a poor undernourished man tried to feed his family and himself, and through both mental and physical pain became heavyweight champion of the world a great read.addios
