Easy to read and understand, excellent pictures and descriptions. I've made vanilla and vanilla chocolate chip in 2 days, both using custard bases. So simple and absolutely delicious. This is a great book and I look forward to making many more batches of different flavours!

Another wonderful book from Richard Bertinet. I find this book even better than Dough in terms of explanations and photos. This man loves bread and loves teaching and his methods work with fantastic results. We made a huge number of items out of both books on his 5 day bread course using the techniques he details in his books and they work every single time. If you want to make bread at home, buy this book and if you can, visit The Bertinet Kitchen you will not be disappointed.

This is a great book, its clear and easy to follow and the extensive photos and the inclusion of the DVD make it invaluable for anyone wanting to make bread. I also had the pleasure of attending Richard's 5 day bread course at The Bertinet Kitchen in Bath and I can't recommend it highly enough. I am now as Richard would say, a bread bore and my kitchen resembles a mini bakery!
