Ready Steady Cook Bistro 18cm Stainless Steel Sauc&hellip by Ready Steady Cook

I bought this for my new induction hob, so I was quite excited to try it out. Its first use involved boiling some frozen peas, whereupon its base exhibited a rash of dark spots. The second use was to heat up pasta sauce. This time, its bottom erupted into an astonishing display of ruddy purple and blue. The Rose Cord (The Ballad of Sir Benfro) by James Oswald
5.0 out of 5 stars A page turner, 19 Jan 2013
I tend to read for a while after I've gone up to bed, but this book has been keeping me awake until the small hours! The pace doesn't slacken for a moment. Sir Benfro comes across as a believable character, and you find yourself genuinely concerned for his welfare. As in Dreamwalker, it's impossible to predict with any accuracy what will happen next, which makes it a page turner, and an excellent one at that.
Great stuff!
