They're ok for the price, but not great.

good points:
- they're blocking out a lot of sound already when just putting them on in passive mode without any music
- very good sound in active mode
- reasonably comfortable, with large earparts, so they don't squeeze your ear
- you can unplug the cable at both ends and replace it completely. Most headphones I went through over the years I had to throw out because the cable got dodgy
- comes with a nice bag and adapter
- relatively cheap

bad points:
- enclosed cable is quite short
- headphones are very heavy
- in passive mode the sound coming out of the speakers is noticeably… Read more

- It has a whole chapter on coding style and helpful little gems like efficient random iteration that where true eye-openers to me.

Now something bad:

- I find the title misleading. 90% of it are not about coding a game, but coding a game… Read more

Pretty good book. It's very in-depth and exhaustive, but at the same time keeps the learning curve nice and smooth.

The vast majority of teachers/authors I encountered waste the first three quarters of the lesson/book regurgitating the same material over and over again or lose themselves in motivational rambling and then panic and try to cram EVERYTHING else into the last quarter, leaving out vital information because there is no space left. This book does not do that!

The chapters are nice and concise and deliver comprehensive code examples and diagrams and explanations that are actually human-readable. Where there are technical terms or maths, they get explained… Read more
