Porlex Tall Hand Grinder by Porlex
4.0 out of 5 stars Coffee Grinder, 9 Mar 2014
It took quite a long time to arrive and I had to pay hefty customs duty on it--which the company refunded in full. The machine is very well made and grinds very well. I have only given it 4 because it takes a long time to grind a few beans. If I could get a ceramic burr grander that was electrically driven then I think I'd go for that. If you only make coffee for one it is fine. If you have an aeropress coffee maker, then it is an ideal companion for it if you are travelling because the grinder easily fits inside the aeropress.
Baigish BPO 7x30 russian military binoculars, army&hellip by Baigish BPO 7x30
I bought these from a different supplier about 10 years ago after my experience with the bigger 10 x 42 binoculars of the same make and because they would be much cheaper to replace than my Leitz 7 x 42. if lost or stolen. On my pair , widening or narrowing the distance between eyepieces was difficult because of unusual stiffness. However once achieved, I just left them because they suited me. I do not think any buyer will ever be dissatisfied-but the binoculars will win no prizes for good looks… Read more

The Baigish are ugly and not so fast to focus and the colours are marginally less accurate. They do not focus as closely as the Leitz, which is hardly surprising considering the functions for which they were designed. However there is absolutely NO Barrel distortion and no curving of straight lines at the edges on the BPO. Also, once each eyepieces is focused they seem to need little refocusing. If you were using them for observation over a long period, you would not find them tiring to the eyes. There is a wonderful… Read more
